Based in the US, Speedball have been making high quality printmaking products for over 75 years. Pioneers in the use of water-based inks for printmaking, they have gone on to produce a wide range of inks, mediums, and accessories trusted by professionals and beginners alike.
Akua Inks were developed by printmakers Susan Rostow and William Jung, who wanted to create safe, fume-free inks for use in their New York City live-in studio. The result is two ranges of groundbreaking inks that don't compromise on performance or quality. In 2012, Speedball added Akua inks to their range.
