How rewired enterprises move faster What separates the fastest-moving organizations from the rest? The answer is not a new org chart; it’s an operating model designed to reduce friction, minimize dependencies, and increase speed.
“Dependencies slow down organizations,” explains Eric Lamarre , McKinsey special adviser and coauthor of Rewired: How Leading Companies Win with Technology and AI (Wiley, April 2026). “When you become a rewired enterprise, you have basically worked through the building blocks of minimizing those dependencies.”
